Granola is a favorite breakfast of many. Because of its high nutrient ingredients, it makes a healthy and quick choice of many health enthusiasts. To take the granola on the next level, we have come up with a new concept of matcha granola. The health benefits of granola are enhanced with the use of matcha powder, making it a more power-packed breakfast choice. Give your health a boost with the goodness of oats, earthiness of matcha and sweetness of maple syrup.Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup coconut, desiccated
- ½ cup cashew nuts, raw and chopped
- ½ cup walnuts, raw and chopped
- ½ cup currants
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Mantra Matcha: Superfood Berry Matcha
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, add oats, nuts, coconut, and matcha powder and mix well.
- Add coconut oil, vanilla extract and maple syrup and mix well using a wooden spoon.
- Pour the mixture over a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the mixture evenly.
- Place the tray in a preheated oven at 356-degree F for 30 minutes.
- Once the granola is baked, remove the tray from the oven and add currants on the granola.
- As the granola cools down, cut it into pieces and serve.
